Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to Donegal Elementary School, a learning community dedicated to providing you and your family a quality, academic education in addition to a social education where students learn the life skills that will enable them to be successful whether they are within our walls or out in the community.  Mount Pleasant’s highly qualified, dedicated and caring staff works tirelessly each day to assist each student in reaching his/her full potential.

I am very excited to return as the principal of  Norvelt and Donegal Elementary after spending the 2018-2019 school year at the Mount Pleasant Area Junior High School.  I began my career in education at Mount Pleasant Area as a high school teacher in 2001. In addition to working with our students in the classroom, I also coached football and baseball for the Vikings.  Since 2009, I have had the honor and privilege of working, as a principal, with the wonderful faculty and staff throughout our district. 

As our students continue their educational journey, the path will lead to new beginnings, endeavors, challenges, and accomplishments.   It takes the concerted efforts of a team to ensure that all of our students reach their full potential. Together, let’s continue to build relationships as a team to better our students, community, and each other.  If there is anything that I can do to assist your child as they continue their journey through school please do not hesitate to contact me.
