I started my educational career in 1990 at Holy Trinity Catholic School where I was a teacher's aide. When that school closed in 1998, I started working for the Head Start Program in Donegal. While working for Head Start, I started taking classes in Early Childhood Education at Westmoreland County Community College. I graduated from WCCC in 2001 and transferred to California University of PA. I graduated from CAL with a degree in Elementary Education in 2004. Since then, I've subbed in the Mt. Pleasant Area School District and now have a permanent position at Donegal Elementary School. I've taught 5th, 6th, 1st and now 2nd grade!
On a personal level, I've been married to Mark for almost 35 years and have two wonderful sons, Korey and Zack and their beautiful wives, Mallorie and Jamie. I recently became a grandmother! What joy!!!! We also have two dogs. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and painting, but I especially love to spend time with my family and friends playing games or just hanging out. Since my granddaughter was born, I try to spend all of my spare time with her!
I'm looking forward to MANY wonderful years in the Mt. Pleasant Area School District.
